An Pierlé on the Circus Planet

For BIG BANG Festival, Ghent's city composer An Pierlé dives into the circus world. Music and movement have always been inseparable to her. Even while playing the piano, she preferes a large sitting ball, so she can jounce and bounce while playing and singing. For this concert, the space around her will also be filled with movement, by the young artists of the Ghent-based Circusplaneet. Trapezes, jugglers and thight rope walkers will be energized by the music or go into a rhythmic dialogue. Choreographer Randi De Vlieghe molds everything into a magical unity.

The stage is completed with pianist Fulco Ottervanger and percussionist Wim Segers. A talented crowd that guarantees an suprising concert in which circus spectacle and poetry are the main ingredients.
